Gumbo!!!!
We have Canivale coming up in our little community of Manitou Springs. As part of the festivities there is the Mumbo Jumbo Gumbo cook off. Unfortunately, I have a previous engagement and will not be able to attend. However, I thought I would share my Gumbo recipe with everyone as it is a low fat version that is pretty darn tasty. This recipe is not for Dr. Theda, however, as he is allergic to bell peppers.

Looks super yummy, Ms. Minch. I'm gonna try it this weekend. How spicy is this recipe? 1 tsp cheyenne might be too spicy for the hubby. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou can adjust spices according to taste. Maybe hold off on liquid hot sauce and just add it to your own. My hubby and I of course, love everything spicy!
